sufficient that he can certify documents presented to him by the parties
in the foreign language; if necessary, he can also make changes in the
documents.

The notary has a high proficieny in the foreign language so that he can
also draw up documents by himself in the foreign language.

In Germany, there are two main types of notaries: In some regions,
notaries are working as notaries only ("hauptberuflicher Notar" = single
profession notary), in other regions, they are at the same time working
both as attorneys and as notaries ("Anwaltsnotar" = advocate notary). As a
